School admissions

Children may join the Nursery at the beginning of the term after their third birthday. There are 26 places for each of the afternoon and morning sessions.

If your child's date of birth falls between the following dates, your child is eligible to start in the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 academic years as follows:

The application form for entry to the Nursery is available from the school or Sutton Local Authority (020 8770 6080). The form must be completed and returned to Sutton Local Authority by the dates shown above. For entry to the Nursery other than within the dates described above, please contact the school directly.

All available places in the Nursery for each term will be offered. This may result in more places being available for one term than another.

Admissions to Reception in September 2012

Children may start school in the academic year after they turn 4 years of age. If your child's date of birth falls between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008 he or she will be eligible to apply for a place in Reception in September 2012.

Children will start school in September in the Reception classes, although this will initially be for a shortened day. The school has 90 places available which are divided into 3 classes of 30 children.

The application form for entry into Reception is available from the school or Sutton Local Authority (020 8770 6080). Application can also be made online - see www.sutton.gov.uk/education/admissions.

Please note that you must still apply for a place for entry into the school if your child has a place in the Nursery. No priority is given to children who are in the Nursery.

The application must be completed and (for Sutton residents) must be returned to Sutton Local Authority or made online by the closing date. This is Sunday 15 January 2012.

Sutton Local Authority is responsible for dealing with the waiting list for entry into Reception. After the waiting list is closed, a new mid-term application must be completed to apply for a place.

If a place at the school becomes available in a year group for which there is a waiting list, it will be offered to the child who is at the top of the waiting list determined in accordance with the criteria for admissions set by Sutton Local Authority.
