We value your role as your child’s first educator. We want to work with you and to learn from you how best to support your child to make the most of the opportunities at Nursery. We hope that you can benefit from our professional expertise too.

If ever you feel unsure as to how your child is at Nursery, please come and speak to us at the start of a session.

You can help by taking an interest in everything your child does at Nursery e.g. when you are presented with a work of art, try saying ‘tell me about it’ instead of ‘what is it?’

By looking at the parents’ noticeboard in the cloakroom, by reading letters and our newsletter, you will know what is going on. All letters sent home for Nursery children can be viewed here.

Once your child has settled into Nursery, you might like to sign up to help. The children benefit from having extra adults to talk to, to play a game with and to listen to them.
