Hair, jewellery and toys

All children, girls and boys, are requested to have their hair tied back securely when it is long enough to do so, in a ponytail, bun or similar style. This is for both smartness and health and safety reasons.

Tying long hair back securely heps prevent the spread of headlice. Please visit www.onceaweektakeapeek.com for essential advice on how to prevent and deal with head lice. View the school's  folder Head lice policy .

All long hair must be tied back for PE and cookery.

The wearing of jewellery other than ear studs is not allowed, as it can be dangerous both to the wearer and others. Older children may also wear watches. Children will be asked to remove ear studs and watches for swimming and PE.

We do not allow children to bring toys to School as these get damaged or lost very easily.
