On Friday 15th October, the children took part in 'Focus on the Crocus' to help raise money for the End Polio Now campaign organised by Rotary. Children and staff wore purple to school and took part in planting purple crocus bulbs. We raised £177.00 in total and will be donating this to Rotary to help them in their quest to wipe out polio by helping to provide vaccine in some countries around the world where polio still affects many people. Thank you to all those who supported through donating money and by helping with the bulb planting. We look forward to seeing lots of purple crocuses around the school grounds in the Spring.
The school has already supporting this campaign by donating £67 from the School Council's cake sale in July.
