Children in Need Print E-mail

On Friday 18th November 2011 Devonshire went dotty in aid of Children in Need.

The school council organised a dotty themed cake sale.  Children brought in lots of cakes, many of which were decorated with dots and the school council worked hard collecting them in the morning and setting them out in the afternoon . As soon as the school day finished the undercroft was full of parents, carers and children all wanting to buy a plate of cakes and help raise money for this very worthwhile cause.  The cake sale was very successful and rasied £310.

The choir also helped raise money for Children in Need: they joined in the Sutton Rotary's activities at the St Nicholas Centre.  Pudsey and the Rotary were trying to make a mile of coins and our choir sang songs to entertain everyone whilst they collected money and tried to make the mile of coins.
