Christmas 2011 was been a very busy and fun time at Devonshire. Our Christmas festivities started with the Christmas Fayre which was organised by the PTA, this was very busy and raised over £2000.
This was followed by Christmas productions from the Nursery, Reception, Infants and a traditional Carol Service at Christ Church which the juniors took part in and everyone was welcome. Parents, carers and friends were invited to each production and left with big smiles on their faces and full of Christmas excitement.

We all enjoyed the Christmas dinner which was extra special this year because it was cooked in our brand new kitchen. Thank to Odette and her team in the kitchen for a delicious meal and thank you to the builders for making sure our kitchen was ready in time.
Everyone had fun at their Christmas parties, the classrooms were buzzing with party games, party music and party food. Nursery had a very special visitor at their party who was wearing a red suit, had a big white beard and gave the children all a present.

Our choir have visited two local day centres to spread the Christmas mood, they sang Christmas songs and carols to and with the eldery people at these centres and everyone had a really enjoyable afternoon.
Everyone has really enjoyed the Christmas fun - Happy Christmas to everyone from us all at Devonshire!
