Welcome to Year 4!

We cover many interesting topics this year and your child will be able to go on several visits. We have some themed weeks, such as London Week, which are generally a great deal of fun (but we hope you learn something as well!).

We also need parents to accompany us on our visits - you won’t need to pay!!

Children are asked to read 4 times a week and have weekly spellings to learn for a test each Friday.They also have numeracy homework every Friday which must be completed by the following Monday and literacy homework every Monday which must be completed by the following Friday.

We always welcome parents who are able to come into School and listen to children read. You do not have to commit yourself to a whole year of weekly visits; we would be grateful for as much or as little time as you can spare us!
