At Devonshire Primary School, we take digital learning and online safety very seriously and aim to provide children and parents with all the necessary information around keeping safe online so that our pupils are able to thrive using technology at school and at home. One way in which we support this is through the use of Digital Leaders. Two children are chosen from each class to be Digital Leaders and represent their class.   

The Digital Leader’s role:

• Be responsible for the class Chromebooks, giving them out, putting them back and cleaning them.
• Be digital partners to a class in reception, KS1 or year 3. They will assist in the lesson, helping the children to log in effectively.
• Be our school photographers - they will be in charge of taking pictures in their class and around school.
• Promote online safety within the school - this may involve taking class assemblies/ whole school assemblies.
• Make Instagram posts for Mrs Love to post on our school’s Instagram account.

The group meets each week during assembly. These meetings are led by Miss Byfield, our Computing Subject Lead.
