The A-Z Breakfast Club offers childcare from 7.30am to 8.35am Monday to Friday for Devonshire children during term time.
The A - Z After School Club offers childcare from 3.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday for Devonshire children during term time (except when the school is closed.
The Club offers a happy, fun and safe environment with a variety of activities, toys and equipment to meet the needs of all ages and abilities. The Club is based in the Junior hall. The children use the Junior and the Infant playgrounds and playing field in most weather conditions.
Drinks are available throughout the session and a light tea is also provided. All drinks and food are included in the fee.
Nicki Santos, the Manager of the A-Z Club (the A-Z After School Club and A-Z Breakfast Club), is fully qualified in childcare and is first aid trained. Nicki has over 26 years' experience of working in the 2-11 age range. The majority of A-Z Club staff hold an NVQ 2/3 qualification and are fully trained in first aid, safeguarding procedures and food hygiene.
From September 2016, the Club became part of the school and now comes under the school's Ofsted registration. The Club was last inspected by Ofsted in April 2015 and received a good rating with a positive report.
Activities are based around a two-weekly theme. Children are free to do homework while at the Club and staff can listen to children read if requested. There is a wide choice of activities available for children to choose from. Children take part in the planning and choice of activities that are out each day.

The rate for each session at the A-Z Breakfast Club is £4.50. This includes food and drink.
The rate for each session at the A-Z After School Club is £13.00. This amount is payable regardless of whether your child stays for 1 hour or 3 hours. All payments must be made in advance, via ParentPay.
