School Timings

The Devonshire day starts at 8.45am for all children from Reception to Year 6; however, the school doors open at 8.35am.  Children can arrive at any time between 8.35 and 8.45am.  We encourage our children to get to school at 8.35am as this gives them an extra 10 minutes of learning time each day.

The school doors close at 8.45am promptly; children arriving after this time are late and will need to be taken by their parents/carers to the main entrance where they will need to sign them in.

The school day finishes at 3.15pm for all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Key Stage 2 children finish their school day at 3.20pm. Please arrive on time to collect your child and leave the playground promptly so that after school clubs can begin.

Our Nursery morning session runs from 8.40 - 11.40 am

Punctuality is extremely important; please support us by ensuring that your children get to school on time and ready to start their learning for the day.
