Sports Council

Our sports council are a group of children who are keen to promote the importance of staying active and having fun whilst doing so.

They organise playground games for children to join in with at lunchtime and they are an important part of the smooth running of sports day.

The work of our sports council promotes our 6Rs, within the team of leaders but also within the school community.  The councillors encourage the children that they work with to try new things (take risks), and use our other 6Rs to be successful with the activity they are working on, and most importantly have fun whilst doing it.

Our sports council are children from Year 5 and 6.  They have specific training for the role and work closely with our PE leaders.
