Young Carers

Supporting our children who are carers is very important to us, as not only do they do something they should be very proud of, but we know that they will need support too. We are currently working towards our silver Young Carer's Award, having already achieved our bronze award.

We have a dedicated ‘Young Carers Corner’ in school, with a variety of books that the children are welcome to borrow and information about what a Young Carer is and how important their role is.  Mrs Carter-Hodge runs a Young Carer’s group who meet regularly.

If you believe your child is a Young Carer and we are not aware of this, please do let Mrs Carter-Hodge know and we can include them in our Young Carer’s group.
